One in four people experience mental health issues at some point in their life.

That means that across your executive board, your leadership team and your employees, there are a lot of people who are struggling to some extent with their mental wellbeing.

Then, when you add into the mix that stress, depression or anxiety were in 2018/19 responsible for 44% of all cases of work-related ill health and 54% of all working days lost due to health issues (MHFA England, 2020), you can start to understand the significance behind why corporate organisations need to prioritise mental health.

Throughout my corporate career, I have worked with those at the top of their field across a variety of industries, and the one thing they seem to have in common is not being able to find the time to balance the life, or the level of wellbeing, that they desire with the career they have worked hard for.

They all want to be healthier on the inside and out, but can’t find the time alongside their deadlines, targets, or responsibilities, so reach for the quick unhealthy fixes rather than easy, simple, healthy options which support you. They cover up the struggles they face, to get the job done and not be seen to be having a difficult time.

My experience in human resources means I truly understand those struggles right now that employees are faced with. I understand what both corporate and entrepreneurial business life is like after partnering with multiple leaders and pioneers. Balancing business and personal performance with your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing is difficult.

I’m able to use this experience and knowledge to tailor solutions that fit your needs, as well as the wellbeing needs of your employees. My approach ensures that your leadership, teams and employees don’t feel that looking after their wellbeing is yet another thing on the to-do list.

As an experienced, passionate and charismatic speaker, I have the tools to help you improve the culture around mental health in the workplace to support your employees’ wellbeing.
